7Water and flavoured water
Grandma used to say that water was best for quenching thirst. She certainly had a point there. What she was not aware of – and possibly didn’t care for – is that water can also help people maintain a healthier weight. Consuming more water than usual on a daily basis, you will feel less voracious in general. Water is great for the system. It keeps our bodies well hydrated and flushes out by-products. If you are not much into pure water, try it with various flavours – just abstain from something which contains white sugar.
